Tipperary County Council I wish to make a request for records under the Freedom of Information Act 2014 relating to the sale of the former Friary Church in Carrickbeg, Carrick-on-Suir, which was sold in 2024. I am seeking access to any records held by the Council concerning: The original transfer of the property from the Franciscan Order to the Carrick-on-Suir Development Association (including any agreements, conditions, covenants, or correspondence relating to that transfer). Any communication between Tipperary County Council and the Carrick-on-Suir Development Association in relation to the 2024 sale of the church to the Malankara/Indian Orthodox Church. Any valuations, market assessments, or professional reports relating to the property prior to its sale. Any records indicating whether the Council required, advised, or expected a tendering process, public notice, or community consultation in advance of the sale. Any information held by the Council regarding the proceeds of the sale, including any conditions attached to how those proceeds were to be used, or any reporting obligations by the Carrick-on-Suir Development Association. Any planning, heritage, zoning, or regulatory considerations recorded by the Council in connection with the disposal or subsequent use of the property. Further to my recent FOI requests submitted on the 19th and 20th November 2025, I wish to add the following instruction regarding the handling of my personal data: I request, in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2014 and relevant data protection legislation, that my identity and all personal details be withheld from any third parties during the processing of my requests. I do not consent to the disclosure of my name, contact details or any identifying information to CoSDA, COSTEDC or any other external party during third-party consultation under section 38.
