Requester sought records relating to companies involved in the fossil fuel industry that partake in the extraction, production or distribution of fossil fuels (coal, oil, natural gas), for use in energy production, heating and industrial processes, including a list of TU Dublin’s current investment portfolio holdings, partnerships and funding agreements with companies involved in the fossil fuel industry, as of the 28th of March 2025, including: - 1. Details of any funding provided to TU Dublin by fossil fuel companies in the form of grants, scholarships or sponsorships, to support research projects at the university, specifically the names of the companies, the total funding amounts received for this purpose, and when this funding was received. 2. Details of any investments made by TU Dublin, whether directly or through third-party financial instruments in fossil fuel companies, including the names of the companies, the amounts invested, and the years these investments were made. 3. Details of any funding or financial support provided by TU Dublin to fossil fuel companies for events, conferences, or other gatherings that promote the interests of the fossil fuel industry.
