I refer to the earlier very successful visit of the Prince of Wales and party to the city of Kilkenny, today. During that visit, A flag of unknown entity flew from Kilkenny Castle; As the OPW is the custodian of Kilkenny Castle for the people of this State, I seek all records in all formats concerning the decision to fly this flag above Kilkenny castle on this day , to include any related internal OPW correspondence and correspondence between other state bodies and or any other entities, or individuals; plus any documents that would identify the seigneurial significance of this Flag, the provenance and indeed the ownership of this flag, and ultimately who made the decision to fly this flag. Plus, I seek any documents etc that may explain why the tricolour of this State was not flown on this significant event. In short, I feel all information and related documents and correspondence concerning, ‘that flag”.
