The request relates to a letter from the Minister for Health that establishes the profession of ‘Clinical Scientist’ following the recommendations of the Tierney Report 1990 – Report of the Committee to Examine Medical Genetics Services. Any letters by the Minister for Health available that make reference to ‘Clinical Scientist’ after 21 April 1998 at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital at Crumlin.
