Department of Transport I am applying under the Freedom of information Act 2014 for the following non- personal non-identifying information: to ask the Minister for Transport and his HR Unit the number of Civil/Public Servants in the last 10 years; who have been granted full-service retirement of 40 years for compassionate/discretionary reasons when they were compelled to retire on ill health grounds (on the advice of CMO/a medical advisor). (1) Can he please indicate the number of recipients whom full service has been awarded to, even, if it was beyond their nearest potential service age for retirement of 60 or 65 (whichever is applicable to their status) i.e., despite 40yrs being beyond their official retirement age , e.g. they were not paid just to the nearest pensionable age but instead were awarded full pension. (2) How many years (approx.) were granted to these retirees in these particular cases (if known)
