Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation Due to Government regulations concerning the gathering of the people for religious services during 2020 and 2021 as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, I wish to request a breakdown of any grants made by the government to compensate for the loss of donations to all religious denominations in the State. I am making this request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2014. The government granted the entertainment sector €25 million in 2021 to compensate for the closure of entertainment centres in the State during the pandemic. I am assuming the government treated all the religious denominations likewise. The religious dominations are as follows: 1. Churhc of Ireland 2. Roman Catholic 3. Orthodox 4. Presbyterian 5. Methodist 6. Jewish 7. Muslim 8. All other denominations
