I am seeking copies of all submissions/objections/complaints (including letters and emails) received from members of the public / external bodies regarding proposals to enable the retrospective use of biometric technologies as outlined in the Garda Síochána (Recording Devices) (Amendment) Bill which is currently before the Oireachtas. If such records exist, I am also seeking copies of any reports or briefing documents relating to phone calls which were received regarding the proposed legislation.
