The amount of the €40m announced for the Fire Service Capital Programme announced in February 2016 was spent in the years 2016, 2017 and to-date in 2018. Of the €8m allocation for Fire Service Capital Programme per year; if the full amount is not spent in one year does the balance transferred in the next year e.g. In 2017 of the €8m; only €7m of that was spent in 2017 and the balance of €1m will be allocated to the 2018 allocation ; or if their is an overspent in one year is the amount that exceeded the allocation taken out the allocation for the next year. The number of requests that the Department have received from Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) for funding under this programme in the years 2016, 2017 and to-date in 2018; of the requests received by DFB the number that were approved, pending or refused in each of those years.
