I am seeking copies of all records held by Galway City Council from January 1st, 2024 to the present relating to requests made by myself and/or local residents to address rat running and traffic volumes on Murrough Avenue and particularly in relation to the potential impact of the Ballyloughane Road Active Travel Scheme. This includes but is not limited to: • Internal emails or memos among Council staff and management • Correspondence with local councillors or external agencies (e.g., consultants, the NTA & Atkins ) • Records of meeƟngs, minutes, or internal discussions referencing this issue • Any assessments, surveys, reports, or responses that have been draŌed or considered • Any records that show how the Council execuƟve intends to respond to the concerns and emails submitted by myself and/or our local residents’ group on this matter. • Records of representaƟons to the city execuƟve by elected city councillors and Galway west elected TD’s on the matter of the rat running and high traffic volumes through Renmore and records of responses by the city hall executive.
