1. The total amount paid out in lump sum payments to retiring members of An Garda Síochána in each of the past five years. This would also include the number of retirees entitled to a lump sum payment in each of the past five years. 2. The top five highest individual payments made in each of the past five years. This would include the rank of each member of the force at the time of their retirement. 3. The number of retirees who received lump sums in excess of €100,000 in each of the past five years. Again, this would include the rank of the officer in each case. 4. The number of retired members of the force receiving annual pension payments in excess of €100,000, and the number of retirees earning between €70,000 and €99,000. 5. What is the average annual pension payment currently received by a) rank-and-file Gardaí, b) sergeant, c) inspector, d) superintendent, e) chief superintendent, f) assistant commissioner, g) deputy commissioner and h) commissioner.
