Under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act, 2014, I wish to request the following material: Copies of all correspondence and material received by the Department of Finance (including the Banking Division and the Offices of Ministers Donohoe and Minister of State Fleming - including their Special Advisers) from Allied Irish Bank (AIB) in June and July, 2022 in relation to the bank’s decision to withdraw cash and cheque services from 70 branches (announced on the 19th July, 2022) and the subsequent reversal of this decision which was announced on the 22nd July, 2022.
