Please provide the number of staff retained by the Council at 31st Dec 2016 (For these two requests the Headcount is the value required – it is believed that this information is provided on returns to the Dept. on an annual basis) 3. Provide the number of staff that died in service during 2015 4. Provide the number of staff that died in service during 2016 (The cause of death will not be requested) 5. Number of staff that Retired during 2015 6. Number of staff that Retired during 2016 (This value to be based on quantity of Pensions that commenced during the relevant year, regardless of when staff may have left work) 7. Based on the value at Query 5 above, the number that received pension contributions including Added Years on the grounds of illness or infirmity in 2015 8. Based on the value at Query 6 above, the number that received pension contributions including Added Years on the grounds of illness or infirmity in 2016 (Added Years for Professional Service are excluded). Any period of Added Years involving ill- health is to be included) The purpose of these requests is to compare the welfare of local authority staff by comparison to national averages.
