1 the preliminary assessment and quantification of vacant sites in your local authority area which all local authorites were obliged to undertake according to Circular PL7/2016 issued by the Department of Environment, Community and local governement . This states at page6 that local authorities must i undertake a preliminary assessment and quantification of the number and location of potential vacant sites in their functional areas. 2. The report by the Chief executive recommending designated areas in the developement plan in which the levy could be applied whihc the circular also states must be written circular p.6 ii and presented to elected members. 3. Documents showing the list of sites to be placed on the vacant site register post verification that the sites were vacant during the previous year, as required by the circular p .6 V if different from above. 4. A Schedule of registered owners of vacant sites included in the vacant sites register to whom notices were issued Circular p.7 viii 5. Any communications by way of emai or written memos and records minutes etc of meetings between the department and your local authority pretaining to the monitoring of the implementation of the levy provisions as required by the circular
