Under the FOI Act 2014, I am seeking access to records held by your Department relating to the Media Engagement Group (MEG), established in collaboration with An Garda Síochána and other stakeholders in 2022. Specifically, I request access to: - Internal communications or briefing notes about the purpose, structure, or coordination of the MEG. - Records of Interdepartmental meetings or correspondence with AGS, Comisiún na Meán, or the NUJ regarding the MEG’s activities. - Records relating to the nomination or appointment of Departmental staff to the MEG or its working groups. - Any evaluations, reviews, or proposed changes to the MEG process or its engagement strategy since its creation. This request covers the period from 1 January 2022 to the date of this request.
