I am submitting this Freedom of Information request under the FOI Act 2014. This shall run in parallel with my current, related FOI request. I would like to request the following information regarding the construction of the Leinster House bike shed, which was approved and funded by the OPW: Authorisation Records: Copies of any records, documents, or emails that indicate which officials or representatives of the OPW authorised or signed off on the budget, design, and construction of the bike shed at Leinster House. Decision-Making Process: Meeting minutes, project memos, or internal correspondence that document the discussions and decision-making process for approving the bike shed’s budget and design. Approval Documentation: Copies of any official sign-off documents, approvals, or authorisations for the project, including the date and the name and position of the person who provided final approval. I believe that the disclosure of this information is in the public interest, as it pertains to the expenditure of public funds and the accountability of public officials in the management of state resources.
