The names of all those who the Government has approved to accept a 'title of nobility or of honour' as per Article 40.2 of the Constitution, as well as details of the title and/or honour. I would also like to know of any instances in which approval was sought by an individual or corporate body (or their representatives), but was either withdrawn or not given by the Government. I would like to know of all such instances within the maximum time limit allowed under Freedom of Information legislation (since 1998?) until today, 2 January 2019. I would also like to request any documentation giving details on the general process for such approval, relevant policy documents, or any document giving guidance on how the process is to take place or how a decision is to be reached. Any available documentation which you feel would help me understand the general process would be greatly appreciated.
