This is a freedom of information request regarding the termination of the lease between the OPW and Three Ireland in respect of the communications mast which is situated at The Old Garda Barracks, Ballycastle, Co Mayo. THe OPW have terminated the lease with Three Ireland which has resulted in the complete loss of phone coverage for an entire community of 20 houses. Three Ireland are the sole providers in this area so this is indeed catraosphic on health and safety grounds. Under freedom of information please forward all documents, communications including e mails along with details and transcripts of all phonecalls and meetings held in your possession from the original siting of this mast right up to date to include everything including the termination of the lease. Likewise please forward all documents, reports, emails and transcripts of all phonecalls and meetings regarding the sale of this property. It is requested that the information is provided up to date at the time of your reply.
