The Department issued two calls for proposals for funding in 2018 relating to sex work, both under the Dormant Accounts Action Plan 2018. 1. Firstly a call for proposals to research and assess the safety and well-being of persons who engage in sexual activity for payment. 2. Secondly a call for proposals to raise awareness of the criminalisation of the purchase of sex and of the exploitation of persons who engage in sexual activity for payment
