• The number of valid applications for Irish citizenship by naturalisation (form 8 only) received from 24 April 2017 to 5 May 2017 and the status of those applications, as at 16 November 2018, under the following headings; a. Application withdrawn or deemed withdrawn, b. Awaiting further information or documentation from applicant, c. Currently being processed, d. Processed and submitted to Minister for decision, e. Decision made (and applicant notified in writing) to grant citizenship, f. Decision made (and applicant notified in writing) to refuse citizenship, g. Decision made to grant citizenship, notified to applicant and awaiting payment of fee for Certificate of Naturalisation, h. Fee for Certificate of Naturalisation received and applicant awaiting ceremony date, i. Certificate of Naturalisation issued and citizenship conferred • The number of valid applications for Irish citizenship by naturalisation (form 8 only) received from 1 January 2018 to 31 March 2018 and, the number of those applications in respect of which a decision, as at 16 November 2018, has been made by the Minister and notified to the applicant (irrespective of whether or not those applications have been submitted by INIS to the Minister for consideration). • The average number of staff employed by the Department during 2018, who are engaged in receiving, processing, deciding and, performing any other duties pertaining to; applications for citizenship by naturalisation. • The gross cost (actual or estimated) to the Department of employing those staff from 1 January 2018 to 16 November 2018. • The expenditure (actual or estimated), excluding staff salaries and benefits, incurred by the Department in respect of the provision of services directly related to applications for citizenship by naturalisation including, but not limited to, office rental, utilities, postage and stationary and third party services, from 1 January 2018 to 16 November 2018. • The gross income received from 1 January 2018 to 16 November 2018 by the Department in respect of applications, and the granting thereof, for citizenship by naturalisation.
