1) The number of concerns in 2022 relating to additional charges incurred for nursing home residents; 2) A breakdown of the concerns by county; 3) A sample of 8 concerns, providing additional detail on same.” Original request 1)The number of complaints received by HIQA in 2022 about out of pocket top up charges for Fair Deal residents in nursing homes (2) A breakdown of complaints in different regions (3) A sample of around eight of the complaints as they were made , including detail on charges. (4) If need be this request can also extend to 2021 if the volume of complaints in 2022 was too low .
