Figures for all horses slaughtered for the food chain in Ireland for each year (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022) and the location / county of slaughter. Can the Department please advice if the breed of horse is captured on these records. If available can these be released. Figures for all horses processed by approved knackeries for each year (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022). If drill down figures are available for location and if the animal arrived fallen or was euthanised on site, can these be released too. The number of horses registered / microchipped in each of the above years (by breed if available) The number of horse deaths notified to the Department for each of the above years (by breed if available).
