Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade

I wish to apply for all papers, reports, etc. held by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, including the Perm Rep in New York, relating to the above appointment. I would like to find out whether Minister Coveney was directly involved in the process. I will be writing some articles for British newspapers on the issue which I believe has important implications for the future integrity of the Irish public service. I particularly wish to ascertain how this proposal was initiated and the criteria used to select Ms Zappone.
