I request records to cover the period 1 January 2024-present. It was reported in the Business Post last week that 12 applications for dual-use exports were denied in 2024 “due to concerns about the intended end-use, the protection of human rights, the potential risk of diversion, and/or compliance with EU sanctions”. Of these, four were intended for Israel. In this regard, I wish for the release of the following [with redactions, as required, for company names, total amounts, types of export items, which will eliminate any possibility of identifying the commercial exporters/importers]:  A copy of any assessments, reports, memos or correspondence received from Department of Enterprise concerning any applications for dual use licences for exports to Israel which were later refused [from 2024 and also in 2025 to date]; A copy of records sent by DFAT to Enterprise for the above cases where export licenses were denied [from 2024 and also in 2025 to date];
