Briefing notes, memos, department analysis, correspondence, emails,and other documents in relation to a lobbying meeting conducted by Michael Mc Namara and Diarmaid Hegarty representing Griffith College, the purpose of which was to discuss ways in which non-state owned approved third-level institutions like Griffith College Dublin, Cork, Limerick can assist in providing extra HE places to students taking full-time and part-time QQI degrees at fair cost to the exchequer. The request for documents would be in relation to the meeting and correspondence on the subsequent proposal, sent or compiled by the Department beforehand and after the relevant meeting, and the correspondence (written or email) in relation to the meeting. The meeting I believe took place between the period 1 May, 2016 to 31 Aug, 2016. And the meeting I believe took place with William Beausang, Assistant Secretary (Department of Public Expenditure and Reform).
