This request concerns the Appropriate Assessment (AA), including any AA screening, carried out for the South Coast Designated Maritime Area Plan for Offshore Renewable Energy (SC-DMAP), as approved by Government, and in particular as it relates to Maritime Area A, “Tonn Nua”. …… respectfully requests access to the following environmental information: All AA screening determinations, Natura Impact Statements, AA reports and any other AA documentation prepared for the SC-DMAP, including drafts and final versions, insofar as they relate to Tonn Nua. The Minister’s AA determination and statement of reasons in relation to the SC-DMAP and Tonn Nua, together with any consultation report referenced in connection with that determination. All scientific, technical and environmental studies, reports, data and mapping placed before the Minister or his officials in connection with the AA (and any associated SEA) for the SC-DMAP and Tonn Nua. This includes, but is not limited to, geophysical and geotechnical studies, metocean characterisation studies and feasibility reports commissioned by or for the Department. Any internal memoranda, briefing notes, minutes, and correspondence (including emails) within the Department or between the Department and external consultants, which were considered by the Minister or his officials when reaching the AA determination for the SC-DMAP and Tonn Nua.
