Records in relation to the decisions about the rules to the Early Childhood Care and Education Programme (ECCE), which came into effect in 2018 and afterwards, which resulted in a single entry point to the ECCE programme and established lower and upper age limits for entry and completion of the programme. This request includes, but is not limited to, all minutes of meetings, emails and other correspondence involving the relevant Minister(s), the relevant government department(s) or other State agencies around the changes to the ECCE programme from 2016 onwards. Including all submissions, underlying data, research papers and other relevant documents held by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth in regard to setting age limits.
