Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation To provide the terms and conditions relating to the role of Labour Inspector (WRC) in the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment, specifically relating to the required working hours of officers in EO grade in role of Labour Inspector. And to confirm from those terms and conditions, if the allowance associated with the role requires officers in the role to work any additional hours in excess of the daily and weekly working hours appropriate to the EO grade, ie, no less than 35 hours per week? To confirm from those terms and conditions, if any additional hours worked by Inspectors in excess of the daily and weekly working hours appropriate to the EO by Inspectors incur overtime rates of pay. I attach a number of documents relating to the agreement by PSEU (now Forsa) and DETE dating between 2004 and 2005 when the allowance was claimed for. You may advise if there is any change to these working hours exclusive of any changes made under FEMPI legislation and/or Haddington Rd agreements. If any changes have occurred, please advise of the new terms and the agreement supporting these changes.
