I wish to make a request - under the Freedom of Information Act 2014 - for the following records in relation to the introduction of Alcohol Interlock devices or 'alcolocks' on public service vehicles from 1st Sep 2011 - 31st June 2014 In particular, I wish to request the following: - Copies of any letters, emails or texts sent to Ministers or Junior Ministers, as well as any subsequent correspondence with the European Transport Safety Council (ETSC) that specifically mentions 'drink driving', and Alcohol Interlock devices or 'alcolocks' - Copies of any internal Departmental correspondence in relation to the issues raised by the ETSC with regard to drink driving and Alcohol Interlock devices or 'alcolocks' - Copies of agendas and minutes of meetings related to Alcohol Interlock devices or 'alcolocks', and drink driving with the ETSC - Copies of any briefing documents/papers prepared for Ministers or Junior Ministers in the Department withrelation to AlcoholIgnition Interlock or 'alcolock' systems Furthermore, I'd like to request records in relation to the introduction of Alcohol Interlock devices or 'alcolocks' in private vehicles of repeat drunk driving offenders to cover the period 1st October 2019 -.1st January 2025 In particular, I wish to request the following: - Copies of any letters sent to Ministers or Junior Ministers in the Department , as well as any subsequent correspondence with the EU council in relation to EU regulation 2019/2144 and the introduction of Alcohol Interlock devices into cars. - Copies of any internal Departmental correspondence in relation to the issues raised in regard to EU regulation 2019/2144 Copies of agendas and minutes of any meetings regarding Alcohol Interlock devices or 'alcolocks' and EU regulation 2019/2144 - Copies of any briefing documents/papers prepared for Ministers or Junior Ministers in the Department in relation to EU regulation 2019/2144 or Alcohol Interlock Devices or 'alcolocks' Records should include internal correspondence as well as external entities mentioned; minutes of meetings held; briefing documents prepared; and any other records created by the Department in follow up to the passing of EU regulation 2019/2144 In all of the above, please exclude all correspondence in relation to the setting up or organising of physical or virtual meetings.
