Refined Request: I will limit my FOI request to one topic in that case: documents et al relating to the European Union’s 2022 revision of farm animal welfare legislation and regulations (also known as the fitness check) governing: animal welfare on the farm, including caging and confinement; animal welfare at slaughter; animal welfare during transport (including live export) and the welfare labelling of animal protein products for human consumption. Which legislation/which specific element of the legislation The legislation does not exist yet, my FOI relates to the ‘fitness check’ or revision of the EU’s farm animal welfare laws which was carried out in order to update existing legislation covering farm animals. Which specific time period As to a shorter time period, please look at October 2022 to October 2023. Hopefully that will be possible. Which species/specific subject matter.
