This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2014 for all records related to the Irish response to the questionnaire circulated by the Venice Commission for its 2024 Report on a rule of law and human rights compliant regulation of spyware. (Questionnaire here - https://www.venice.coe.int/webforms/documents/default.aspx?pdffile=CDL- PI(2024)014 - for reference.) In particular I would expect these records to include: * The Irish response to the questionnaire (if that differs from the material published by the Venice Commission here - https://www.venice.coe.int/files/Spyware/IRL-E.htm); * Any drafts of that response; * Any correspondence (internally or with other bodies) regarding the response; and * Any materials consulted (journal articles, web posts, newspaper articles, etc.) in preparing the response.
