Under the Freedom of Information Act (2014) I am requesting the following information: • Any correspondence, including but not limited to emails, letters, notes, voice notes, text messages and messages sent over WhatsApp, Signal or other messaging services mentioning methane, no additional warming, 'alternative metrics' for measuring emissions, Global Warming Potential or GWP* between the Department of the Environment Climate and Communications and: o the New Zealand Government o the New Zealand Embassy o representatives of the New Zealand Government o Officials working for the New Zealand Government, including but not limited to the New Zealand Ministry for the Environment, or New Zealand Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Trade • Any documents, including but not limited to documents, advice, agendas, minutes, or meeting notes, mentioning methane, no additional warming, 'alternative metrics' for measuring emissions, Global Warming Potential or GWP* which mention any of the following: o New Zealand o the New Zealand Government o the New Zealand Embassy o representatives of the New Zealand Government o Or officials working for the New Zealand Government • Any correspondence between the Department of the Environment Climate and Communications and Federated Farmers, Dairy New Zealand, Beef and Lamb New Zealand, the Global Roundtable on Sustainable Beef, or Groundswell New Zealand. Including but not limited to emails, letters, notes, voice notes, text messages and messages sent over WhatsApp, Signal or other messaging services. • Any documents mentioning Federated Farmers, Dairy New Zealand, Beef and Lamb New Zealand, the Global Roundtable on Sustainable Beef, or Groundswell New Zealand. Including but not limited to documents, advice, agendas, minutes, or meeting notes. • Any correspondence between the Department of the Environment Climate and Communications and representatives of other foreign governments referencing 'alternative metrics' for measuring emissions, methane, no additional warming, Global Warming Potential or GWP*. Including but not limited to emails, letters, notes, voice notes, text messages and messages sent over WhatsApp, Signal or other messaging services.
