Records created on or after 01 January 2023 until 04 December 2023 relating to carrier liability fines imposed on airlines in 2023 under the Immigration Act 2003 (Carrier Liability) Regulations 2003, or, in the alternative, a table of total fines issued by month in 2023. I understand from questioning in the Oireachtas that the Garda National Immigration Bureau has issued 964 fines on airlines in 2022 for persons arriving in the State without the appropriate documentation, such as a visa or passport. I am seeking the total number of such fines issued to date in 2023, preferably by month.
