Requester Type A chara, To ask the Minister for Finance, in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2014, the following: 1. Internal correspondence between Department of Finance officials on the Rainy Day Fund proposal from January 2018 to date, including - • in relation to the withdrawal mechanism of funds from a Proposed Rainy Day Fund; • in relation to the relationship of any withdrawal mechanism with the provisions of the EU Stability and Growth Pact; • in relation to the ability to withdraw funds and spend over and above the expenditure benchmark; 2. Final briefing prepared for meetings of any Oireachtas Committee by Department of Finance officials insofar as that briefing refers to any aspect of a Rainy Day Fund proposal, from January 2018 to date, including - • in relation to the withdrawal mechanism of funds from a Proposed Rainy Day Fund; • in relation to the relationship of any withdrawal mechanism with the provisions of the EU Stability and Growth Pact; • in relation to the ability to withdraw funds and spend over and above the expenditure benchmark; 3.. Final briefing prepared for any meeting between the Department of Finance and officials from the EU Commission insofar as that briefing refers to any aspect of a Rainy Day Fund proposal.
