We, the residents committees of Cormack Drive and St Conlan's Rd-Gortlandroe, are writing to you in request of a letter referring to the position of the residents of St Conlan's Rd-Gortlandroe, dated the 22/08/1984, regarding the type of houses that should be built in Cormack Drive; on the current vacant site to the rear of the houses on St Conlan's Rd, on which the County Council, following submissions and requests by the combined residents of Cormack Drive and St Conlan's Rd, not to build further houses, proposes to build five social housing bungalows. We know that this letter exists, and are requesting a copy of it as soon as possible, under the Freedom of Information Act. We can collect a copy of this letter at Nenagh County Council Offices in due course. We wish to include this copy of a brief discussion between the Cathaoirleach, Councillor S Gardiner and the Residents Association of St Conlan's Rd-Gortlandroe, which refers to the letter which we are looking for, and indicates that it exists.
