This request relates to the measures in Budget 2019 which will increase (from March 2019) the payment to asylum seekers, may be called 'direct provision allowance' or could be referred to as the 'daily expenses allowance'. I appreciate that this is generally within the remit of the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection. I wish to access under FOI Act 2014, the following: All documents between Minister Charlie Flanagan and/or documents between Justice officials engaging with the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection on proposing/discussing/agreeing this increase; All documents between Minister Flanagan and/or officials within Justice had with all other Government Departments, their Ministers and/or officials, and agencies, such as TUSLA, Reception and Integration Agency, INIS etc., proposing/discussing/agreeing this increase. Any discussion of this increase that took place between the Department of Justice with non-government agencies/bodies (such as non-governmental organisations) before the increase was announced in Budget 2019, and after the increase was announced in Budget 2019.
