Department of the Taoiseach

On the 14th of October, the Taoiseach said the following in the Dáil: "The Deputy is suggesting that we keep bailing out the companies----- [...] and keep underpinning the gouging. If the companies think there is going to be €200, €500 or €1,000 every year, that will get factored in, without question." The Taoiseach implies that gouging is happening in the electricity market (otherwise we wouldn't 'keep' underpinning it). I would like to request any records held by the department in relation to gouging in the electricity market from the last 12 months.
