| 1. Provide a best-in-class user experience for all users supported by a digital service layer 2. Achieve Operational Excellence 3. Strengthen our IT and cyber security to protect the data we hold, taking account of increase in frequency of cyber-attacks. Develop an end-to-end view of key corporate services and exploit the potential of new technologies to promote cross- functional integration. Develop and test every aspect of our BCP. 5. Give PSBs and public servants the tools and skills to use self-service technologies across all platforms. 6. Further enhancement of BI and Analytics services provided to PSB clients. 7. Develop a Future Cloud Technology & IT Foundation. 8. Maximise existing investments in PeopleSoft HRMS. | • A user interface providing one-stop and uniform access to NSSO’s core applications via portal services • Review current service management practices with a view to adopting an ITIL compliant tier support model • Seek to make services available outside the government network • Integrate technology used for Payroll and HR Shared Services, deploying cloud and exploiting AI technologies where possible. • As noted under Goal 1, we will develop and implement an NSSO innovation strategy covering our services, processes and technology. • Single website to access all NSSO services. • Ensure the security of the NSSO against cyber-attack through a combination of IT security, training and awareness measures for staff and countervailing internal controls. • Pursue an integrated HR & Payroll direction as part of the one HCM ambition considering new integration technologies and alternatives in addition to a single vendor approach | • Build a Digital Experience Service Layer and provide a single 360-degree view of the employee • A UX experience conforming to industry best practices leveraging PeopleSoft UX improvements • Active programme of technology replacement and hybrid cloud strategy underway, and AI technologies (RPA). • Active risk programme for cyber security including review and testing of IT third party security protocols and controls, and operating system security, and monitor and report annually. • Accurate, reliable technology supporting our services – evidenced by measures of quality service in customer feedback • Implement Time & Labour and Absence modules • Integrated HR & Payroll feasibility and RFP • Continuous improvement of processes by digitisation and reduction in manual interventions. |
