“Sex Work”

we…urge this Department to identify and address underlying harmful gender and other stereotypes, and discrimination and structural inequalities, that drive marginalisation and exclusion and lead to women - and individuals from marginalised groups - selling sex in disproportionate numbers, and to discrimination against sex workers. It should also ensure that sex workers enjoy equal access in practice to supports, resources and services that allow them to leave sex work if and when they choose.
