Theme 6: Gender Equality

Thirteen submissions addressed the issue of gender equality (Pavee Point, DAFM, Ibec, ICTU, NCCWN, CIB, Aontas, SJI, Plan, AI, Barnardos, FP and TVG, Cork). Sub-themes addressed in these submissions included: references to various policy challenges, and strategies, work and family, the Mother and baby homes, and the Magdalene laundries.
