1. My first request for this information was on Dec 6th. Eleven weeks later I am told they don't even exist and have been 'destroyed'. Why was I not told this initially in December? 2. What is the purpose of destroying information like this? Would you not use this information for future modelling? Destroying information which could be used in the future makes no sense. 3. How long has it been policy of NUIG to destroy information relating to attendance of past exams? Has this always been policy? Can I see a copy of the policy that states this is practice? Has this policy been altered anyway in the past two years? 4. NUIG management stated that exams in semester one would be run at 40-60% capacity of previous exams. How do we know that they were run at 40-60% capacity when ALL the information from previous exam attendances were destroyed? Perhaps we were running them at 120% capacity, perhaps it was only 10%, no one knows anymore. That data has gone into the memory hole for eternity.
