When your local authority drafts and submits reports in relation to numbers on the social housing waiting list does this include applicants on standby because of garda clearance issues and or convictions? Are applicants classified as travellers or homeless who are on standby as a result of garda clearance issues and or convictions included in the statistics you submit to your council meetings/ housing Strategice policy committee/ministerial department . How does you local authority quantify the standby timeframe applied to people on standby? Are those applicants qualified and on the social housing waiting list who are on standby because of garda clearance issues convictions able to acess HAP while on standby? Are they able to access any other housing service while on this standby list and if yes then which services? At what point in the process from time of application for social housing is garda clearance submitted to the gardai for an applicant? Is this applied to all social housing applicants consisstently and if not why? What is the process within your housing authority for notifying applicants when they are placed on standby and what is the appeals process that an applicant can follow if they are unhappy with the decision of the housing authority in putting them on standby?
