On items 1 and 2, I am looking to see if KCC has made an argument with Central Government to be better resourced. So, it would most likely be arguments around having maximum of 40 councillors and one effective council, rather than splitting into two councils, one urban and one rural council like Cork, Galway etc., or generally the resourcing constraints faced by the council. I think under FOI there can be a cost for lengthy searches, and I may be advised of same, please don't hesitate. Restricting this query to one year (say documents from 2023 and 2024) may not produce the content I'm searching for but I'm happy to do so and return for additional years under a separate FOI request. On item 3 the key document is the business case, but other documents you may find would be welcome. On item 4 I believe this communication occurred in 2024. Item 5 I presume is contained in a current policy document internally within KCC.
